Travel abroad to teach English in another land! You don’t need to be a trained teacher; we’ll prepare you!
Make deep, international friendships. It is amazing how close everyone gets at English Camps! Deep friendships that last form as everyone experiences the camp together!
Share Christ’s love. You’ll have opportunities to share about your walk with Jesus, and invest in campers’ lives for eternity. When camp ends, national hosts provide follow-up and discipleship.

How long is a typical camp?
One week, with a few additional days for travel and training before camp plus a debrief day after.
Do I need to speak the local language?
No! Our campers come to the English Camps to have an English-speaking experience. Learning a few local language words for courtesy is all you need!
What do the listed costs include?
Food, housing with other staff, and transportation in country (for a site seeing day and/or a celebration meal of local foods).
How difficult is it to raise support?
We’ve seen God be faithful in providing prayer and financial support for hundreds of staff in amazing ways – see this as an opportunity for God to affirm His work in and through you!
Are individuals welcome to apply, or does it need to be an entire team?
We encourage church teams of at least 4 people to come together, but have places for individuals to join teams as well.

Is there an age minimum?
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old at the time of departure for camp. No age maximum!
What are some possible roles I could have?
Most foreign staff serve as Conversational English facilitators using our pre-designed, easy to use curriculum. We provide training for using our English curriculum and if we have enough staff, we can provide opportunities to “team teach”. Others serve as Team Leader, Worship Leader, Small Group Discussion leader and/or Activities Leader. In some locations, there are opportunities to serve as Bible teacher.
What does a typical camp day look like?
A typical camp day starts with a designated staff quiet time and prayer, breakfast and announcements, Conversational English Classes using our curriculum, Free time, Lunch, Cultural workshop, Activities, Free time/staff meeting, evening meal, Bible teaching and worship, Small group discussion, activity/snack, and lights out!
