Invitation to Service to Remember

Loss is a familiar companion for those who serve cross culturally. We experience loss of freedoms, colleagues who leave, and we lose a degree of competence as we enter a new culture just to name a few.  

But this doesn’t make loss any easier, especially when it’s the very personal loss of a loved one. 

It might be a grandparent, a parent, child, spouse, sibling or close friend. ? 

If you are among those who has lost a loved one this past year, we would like to acknowledge that with you, and invite you to a special service planned just for you.  

We are holding a Service to Remember, to celebrate and honor those loved ones who have died in 2022.  

It’s also a time to pause and admit that this holiday season will be different without our loved one, and to receive comfort and hope from one another.  

We have planned 2 identical services with the hope that one might be a more convenient time for you to participate, especially if you are serving in Europe, Africa or Asia. This year we have a weekend and weekday option.
