Maybe you have a few weeks between semesters and want to use them well. Maybe you've felt a pull toward overseas education for a while and just need a first step. Or maybe you have a professional background, a set of skills, and a growing sense that God might want to use them somewhere unexpected.
Experience Beyond is a 2–4 week serving opportunity with TeachBeyond designed for educators, professionals, and anyone who wants to get a real feel for life and work in one of our international schools. It is short enough to fit into a busy season, and rich enough to be genuinely meaningful.
WHAT THIS ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
You won't just observe from a distance. You'll step into school life, build connections, and contribute in ways that are real and specific to what you bring.
During your time, you can expect to:
- Build relationships in class, and in the wider school community
- Engage-for-understanding with the new culture through extra-curricular activities
- Your expertise, interest and skills making a specific contribution
- Observe, shadow and help
- Networking with mission-minded colleagues to help you explore your sense of call
- Develop your professional understanding of transformational pedagogies and curriculum
