Assistant Principal (2027)

GLCA serves missionary families in the greater Lisbon area. Our school teaches everything in English through a biblical world-view. Our small family-like atmosphere is unique and really feels like "home". We are looking for an experienced assistant principal to work with the student government to plan events, help oversee teachers, and invest in building relationships within our community. 

GLCA has recently been accredited with Accreditation International (AI) & the National Council for Private Schools Accreditation (NCPSA). The current administrator needs help in sharing some of the accreditation responsibilities, as well as other tasks, to ensure students get the best education to prepare them for a life of ministry & college (if they choose). 

Essential qualifications:

• An authentic and visible Christian faith
• Compatibility with GLCA’s doctrinal statement (he/she must agree and sign)
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• A strong sense of teamwork and willingness to work in collaborative relationships with other teachers
• A desire to build relationships with students
• Experience in administration is preferred

Lisbon is a safe and beautiful place to live. The locals are very welcoming and quickly switch to English if you do not know Portuguese. There is a local church plant nearby that has a service in English for internationals. Come and be a part of what God is doing in Portugal by joining our family!
