Brazil - El Rancho English Camp
We want to deepen the Gospel through discipleship in the lives of teenagers and young people, helping them to improve their English while learning about how God can transform our lives.
The English Camp will take place near Cocalzinho, in the heart of the Brazilian Cerrado, near the Corumbá River. The campground is surrounded by beautiful natural areas, including waterfalls and forest trails. In July, the days are hot and dry, while the nights can be cold.
The purpose of this camp is to deepen the Gospel through discipleship in the lives of teenagers and young people. Many of the campers already attend church and have heard about Christ, often participating in camps regularly, but they need guidance on how to live out the Gospel beyond the church environment. Others attend because the camp is a fun experience and may not yet know Christ. Most of them, however, are seeking real connections, meaningful relationships, and clear biblical direction.
The team will share the love of Jesus through conversational English classes, interactive activities, games, and relationship-building. No previous teaching experience is required, though it is helpful. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
This camp is a unique opportunity to serve, experience Brazilian culture, try the best pão de queijo in the world and be part of what God is doing through intentional discipleship and meaningful relationships.
We are looking for 6-8 motivated volunteers (Teachers and Activities Staff).
