Paraguay - English Camp

This is a unique opportunity to impact the next generation of Paraguayan students through English, friendship, and the hope of the Gospel.

TeachBeyond Paraguay’s first English Day Camp will take place in Asunción, creating a fun and welcoming environment where students can practice conversational English while building meaningful relationships with Christian teachers.

Paraguay is one of the least evangelized countries in Latin America, with only about 7–8% of the population identifying as evangelical Christians. Through English lessons, games, and relationships, the team will have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus in a country with a rich cultural heritage.

Volunteers will also experience Paraguay’s unique culture, where Spanish and Guaraní blend together through Jopara, and enjoy local traditions, hospitality, and foods such as chipa, sopa paraguaya, mbejú, asado, and tereré.

The team will teach conversational English, lead fun activities, and build relationships with students. Training and curriculum will be provided, so teaching experience is helpful but not required. Applicants must be 18 years or older to serve.

We are looking for 8-10 motivated volunteers (Teachers and Activities Staff).

Location: Asunción - Paraguay is a small, beautiful, and safe capital city, well known for its green spaces, parks, and charming atmosphere.

Dates: January 16 - 24, 2027

Cost*: $860 USD/$1,210 CAD + airfare

*The project fee includes the cost of materials, curriculum, training, in-country costs, food, accommodations, and insurance.
