Primary Teacher

KICS is an international school that serves over 320 in grades PreK-12 who will be future world changers. KICS is accredited through ACSI and MSA along with being full members of CESA. Our staff is mission-focused with a heart for educating students from all backgrounds and faiths through a biblical worldview.

Required Qualifications:

• Passion for serving God in the context of education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education
• At least one year of primary teaching experience (open to first-year teachers after a successful student teaching experience)
• Holds ACSI certification or ability to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid US State Teacher Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s)
• Two or more years of successful teaching experience
• Prior experience in an international school
• Master’s Degree in Education or related field
• Understanding of Common Core Standards
• Experience with English Language Learners and students with special needs
• Experience with Science of Reading
