Reading Specialist

Provide reading instruction and interventions to support literacy development across the school, collaborating with teachers and integrating a Christian worldview.

Responsibilities

• Assess student reading levels and implement individualized interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support literacy goals.
• Provide small group or one-on-one instruction.
• Maintain records of student progress.
• Integrate faith and biblical principles into reading instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Reading, Literacy, or Education
• Reading/Literacy certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting struggling readers and diverse learners.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Agreement with the school’s mission and statement of faith.
