Special Education Teacher

A Special Education teacher will support and teach our early and middle grades students, providing a quality, international Christian education in multiple subjects.

Subjects and Classes

The teacher may be asked to provide instruction and extra support for students in both classroom and pull-out settings, in a variety of subjects. 

Age Group

Instruction and/or support may be given to Pre-1st through 8th grade students.

Time Commitment

This is a full-time position with the expectation that the teacher will work regular full-time hours between 8 am to 4 pm on a daily basis.

Extra Responsibilities

Teachers must attend all scheduled staff meetings. The teacher may be assigned to supervise lunch, recess, or a school activity. 

Professional Requirements

A university degree in education and/or the subject area is required, and a teaching credential is preferred. The applicant must complete the ACSI Philosophy of Education requirement within three years of starting the position.
