Translation Specialist (Various Languages)

The translation specialist will use industry standard CAT tools, online dictionaries, machine translation tools, and consultation with colleagues to translate and revise documentation that is essential to the pursuit of TeachBeyond's Strategic Goals laid out in vision 2040: "Transformational Education available to everyone everywhere in our generation.

The translation specialist serves to empower local national entities in their ministry by providing heart-language resources.

The translation specialist is expected to work swiftly, and excellently, have great attention to detail, and work well in a team and individual context. S/he will meet regularly with the translation team, and have the opportunity to serve occasionally as an interpreter or Language Learning professional if desired.

Documents vary widely in terms of length and content, proficient understanding of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in a variety of contexts is essential, as well as the ability to do linguistic research.

This opportunity is a remote and support based position. Pay is based on the applicant's own ability to raise funds for their salary; paid via donor or self-support.
